In 1921, Dyke's Automobile and Gasoline Engine Encyclopedia became the first in a long line of publishing milestones by Goodheart-Willcox. Our start in automotive education set us on the path to becoming an industry leader in Career Education, as well as a leading force in Health Education.

As the world has changed, G-W has evolved to meet the shifting needs of the workforce, students, and educators. Through it all, we have remained committed to our mission: to help people build careers and develop skills for life.
