FAQ list > I receive an error when completing Workbook files in Chrome (file is damaged and could not be repaired). What is causing this error?

This error is caused by Chrome’s PDF viewer. Disabling this viewer will force the PDFs to download and open in Adobe Reader for completion. The file can then be successfully saved and re-opened.
To disable Chrome’s PDF viewer, open Chrome and type chrome://plugins/ into the omnibox (where you would enter a website address).
Scroll down to find Chrome PDF Viewer. Select the Disable link.
