About the Author(s)

Mark W. Huth - brings a great deal of relevant experience from multiple perspectives. He served seven years in the U.S. Navy as an aviation machinists mate where he was recognized for proficiency in his craft. Following the Navy, he received a baccalaureate degree from the State University of New York at Oswego. Mr. Huth taught high school for several years before beginning a career in educational publishing. His publishing career provided him with the opportunity to work with some of the most successful teachers across North America. Mr. Huth is the author of many career and technical education titles, such as Modern Carpentry, as well as successful textbooks on math topics.
