FAQs › How do I change my test bank location preferences within the ExamView® TestGenerator?

Launch the ExamView® TestGenerator software. Select Close on the “What do you want to do?” prompt.
Within ExamView® TestGenerator software, select the Edit menu, and then select Preferences.
Select the Files icon at the top of the Preferences window.
Select the small folder icon and browse to the new v8.1 or later test bank installation location. To determine the location you need to redirect the program to, please refer to “How do I locate the ExamView® v8.1 or v9.1 test banks on my computer after installation?” You can also adjust the default Tests and Online (LAN) tests preferences from this preferences window.
Once you have located the appropriate new banks folder, select the Select button.
Select OK.
The TestGenerator software should now look to this new location with your newly installed test banks when you attempt to build a new test.
