Charting Your Career: Interest Inventory

Charting Your Career Interest Inventory is a hands-on career exploration tool for use in the classroom or independently. It asks students to rank their interest in 160 career-oriented activities. Scoring the responses allows students to identify their top three career areas, or clusters, for exploration. The recommended courses, skills, and occupations related to each career cluster are provided for student review. Resources for career research are also included to help students begin making educated decisions about their futures.

• Color-coded columns allow for easy scoring and support visual learning.
• The Recommended Courses and Skills provided for each cluster allows students to plan for the future by identifying the courses they need to take and skills they need to develop.
• Statements used in the inventory are backed by extensive research using the O*NET Database, the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupational Outlook Handbook, and other government sources.
