About Author(s)

Lee Jackson, CFCS - taught family and consumer sciences in Wisconsin and Missouri middle and high schools for over twenty-five years. Her articles on child development, parenting, nutrition, fashion, and finance have been published in magazines and newspapers. She provides consulting services for other authors and has served as technical consultant to a professional magazine. Lee's entrepreneurial spirit has taken her in a number of directions. Her special interest in foods and nutrition inspired her to write and publish several cookbooks and guides to nutrition and physical fitness. Other writing contributions include a children's storybook. The small press company she started now publishes books for other authors. She received her B.S. degree in Home Economics Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and her M.S. degree in Education from Northwest Missouri State University. She lives in Maryville, Missouri.
