> What is a Response File?

A Response File is a file you upload to an Advanced Uploading of Files Assignment to provide feedback to the student. You may provide feedback within the framework of the student’s submitted file or in a new file.

A Response File may use the same filename as the student’s submitted file. It will not overwrite the student’s file.

In order for the Response File to display, you must use the HTML editor to leave feedback.

Students are able to access Response Files from the Assignment page (where they submitted their file).

When grading an Advanced Uploading of Files Assignment, a Response File is not required.
