Select the Gradebook link from the Course Menu on the left-hand side of the screen.  |
The Grader Report displays all grades that have been collected for all students in the course.  |
The top rows of the Report show the hierarchy of the Gradebook (generally Course, Category, Grade Item).  |
You can choose to display more or less information for a category by toggling the icon next to its title.  |
The – icon displays the Collapsed view, showing only the category total.  |
The + icon displays Grades only without the category total.  |
The o icon displays the Full view, showing all items and the category total.  |
A column’s grades can be sorted highest-to-lowest or lowest-to-highest by toggling the up-down arrow icon to the right of the Item.  |
To return to sorting alphabetically by student name, select First name or Last name in the User column.  |
Click on the empty space in a student name cell or an item cell to highlight that row or column.  |

Click on the space again to remove the highlight from the row or column.

Roll your mouse over a cell to display a tooltip detailing the information contained in that cell.  |
Select the Turn editing on button in the top-right corner of the screen to enable the editing of grades.  |
Quick grading is now active, allowing you to alter or assign grades directly in the Gradebook.  |
Select Update to save any changes.  |
Any grade changes made in the Grader Report will be highlighted.  |
Select the edit icon for a category or item to adjust its settings.  |
For more information about each option, select the blue question mark to the right of its name.  |
Select Save changes to save any changes and return to the Grader Report.  |
Select Turn editing off to return to the normal display of the Grader Report.  |
