Select a format to view a video.

Select the Quizzes link from the Course Menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

The Quizzes page lists all Quizzes in a course.

The Attempts column shows how many times students have attempted a quiz.

Select the Attempts link.

Questions with a dashed point value are open-ended questions that require manual grading.

Select the link to a question to review the response.

A pop-up window will display the question, the answer provided by the student, and the correct answer.

Select Make comment or override grade to launch the grading window.

Use the HTML editor to provide feedback, if desired.

In the Grade field, assign a Grade. The maximum point value for the question is displayed next to the text field.

Select Save.

Select Close this Window.

The Question window will reflect the new grade information.

Close the pop-up and refresh the Quiz page to see the grade changes take effect.

You can override automatically assigned grades using the same method.
