Some files will automatically prompt you to download them while you may have to download other files manually.

An automatic download file will prompt an Open or Save dialog box when you click its link on the course outline.

Select Save. Depending on your Web browser or operating system, you may or may not be asked where to save the file. If you are not asked to specify a location, your file will most likely save to your Downloads folder. For more information, see Where did my downloaded file go?

To manually download a file, right-click on the file’s link on the course outline and select Save target as (or Save link as).

Specify the location where you’d like the file to be saved and then select Save.
