Select a format to view a video.

Use the Upload a Single File Assignment when you want students to submit a file (doc, xls, pdf, etc.) for grading.
Select Turn editing on in the upper-right corner.
Navigate to the section of the Course Outline where you want to add the Assignment.
From the Add an activity drop-down, select Upload a single file.
Enter a Name that is relevant to the Assignment you will be posting.
Use the HTML editor to write a Description of the assignment.
Use the Grade drop-down to select a point value or grading scale.
Selecting an Availability date prevents students from submitting the assignment before this date.
Selecting a Due date prevents students from submitting the assignment after this date.
Select the Disable checkboxes if you prefer to not set availability or due dates.
Selecting No from the Prevent late submissions drop-down allows students to submit assignments late.
Selecting Yes from the Prevent late submissions drop-down blocks students from submitting assignments late.
If you Allow resubmitting, this permits students to resubmit assignments after they have been graded.
If you enable Email alerts to teachers, instructors will receive a brief e-mail each time an assignment is submitted.
Use the Visible drop-down to select the visibility (Show or Hide) for this resource.
Use the Grade category drop-down to select a gradebook location for this Assignment.
Select Save and display to view your Assignment.
