Select a format to view a video.

Use the Upload a Single File Assignment when you want students to submit a file (doc, xls, pdf, etc.) for grading.

Select Turn editing on in the upper-right corner.  |

Navigate to the section of the Course Outline where you want to add the Assignment.
|
From the Add an activity drop-down, select Upload a single file.  |
Enter a Name that is relevant to the Assignment you will be posting.  |
Use the HTML editor to write a Description of the assignment.  |
Use the Grade drop-down to select a point value or grading scale.  |
Selecting an Availability date prevents students from submitting the assignment before this date.  |
Selecting a Due date prevents students from submitting the assignment after this date.  |
Select the Disable checkboxes if you prefer to not set availability or due dates.  |
Selecting No from the Prevent late submissions drop-down allows students to submit assignments late.  |
Selecting Yes from the Prevent late submissions drop-down blocks students from submitting assignments late.  |
If you Allow resubmitting, this permits students to resubmit assignments after they have been graded.  |
If you enable Email alerts to teachers, instructors will receive a brief e-mail each time an assignment is submitted.  |
Use the Visible drop-down to select the visibility (Show or Hide) for this resource.  |
Use the Grade category drop-down to select a gradebook location for this Assignment.  |
Select Save and display to view your Assignment.  |
