Search Tips

Search Overview
You can search for books in two ways: Quick Search and Advanced Search. Quick Search is a single-field search, searching by Title or ISBN (International Standard Book Number). Advanced Search allows you to search by multiple fields and apply search filters.

Enter all or part of the title you are looking for. The search engine will try to find books that have all the words you entered in the title.

Enter the thirteen-digit ISBN to the product you are looking for. This search will find the textbook with that ISBN number.

Enter all or part of the author’s last name you are looking for.

Quick Search

1. Go to the search field at the top of the page.
2. Type the desired Title or ISBN in the text field.
3. The search results will display a list of textbooks that best match your search criteria.

Advanced Search
The Advanced Search allows you to search within one or more field. Searching within more than one field helps narrow your results to find the product you are looking for.

Searching by Title, ISBN, and/or Author’s Last Name

1. Select the Advanced Search Link at the top of the page.
2. Type in the desired Title, ISBN, and/or Author’s Last Name in the correct text fields. You can enter information into one or more fields, but this is not required for all fields.
3. If desired, you can narrow your search by selecting check boxes from the Catalogs, Subjects, Product Type, and Grade Level sections.
   • Catalogs–narrow your search to include all or one catalog
   • Subjects–narrow your search to include all or one subject
   • Product Type–narrows your search to include all, some, or one product type
   • Grade Level–narrows your search to the appropriate grade level
4. When you have entered all the relevant information, click on the "Search" button to start your search.

Search Results
Search results are presented in order by relevance. You can also sort your results alphabetically by selecting Alphabetical from the dropdown menu.
