| Insert the IRCD into your CD-ROM drive. |
| From the taskbar, select the Start button and then select Run. |
| Enter the following, replacing "D" with the drive letter that corresponds to your CD-ROM drive: D:\AutoPlay\Docs\Installation\EV Modern Auto Tech 2004\G-W Modern Automotive Tech\EVPlayer\Setup.exe. |
| When prompted for a location to install the program, select a folder (e.g. X:\programs\evplayer for network installations or C:\evplayer on your local hard drive). |
| For local area network (LAN) installations, complete the steps listed below. Note: Repeat the process if you plan to install the software at each computer instead of installing the program once on your network. |
1. Select the Start button and choose Taskbar from the Settings menu.
2. Select the Start Menu Programs tab and click Add.
3. Type the location and program name for the Test Player software, or use the Browse button to find this.
4. Proceed to the next screen and add a new folder (e.g. EXAMVIEW Test Player).
5. Enter EXAMVIEW Test Player as the shortcut name and then select Finish. |
